Photographed ten days apart in July 2023 from the rear garden. The cracked render on both gables is now clad.
Room refurbishment

The first photo was taken part-way through the work in June 2024, the second when finished in July 2024. The view through both windows matches.

Photographed in September 2024. The old deck was stripped back to the joists, rebuilt and re-felted.

Dunster House log cabin on a concrete base
Our team set the floor bearers out on a concrete base, built the log walls course by course, then fitted the roof, windows and double doors.

Front elevation cladding
The red clay hanging tiles on the upper front of this detached house were replaced with sage-green horizontal cladding in June 2023.

Raised timber deck
A raised timber deck across the back of the house, with wide steps, built-in planters and a spindle balustrade, shown in daylight and at dusk.

Garden building
A black timber-clad garden building on a brick plinth, with a corrugated roof and a glazed door and window. Inside, the timber roof structure is boarded and the building has lighting and power sockets.

Media wall
A media wall finished in vertical slatted panelling, with a recess for the television, open alcove shelving either side and a lower recess for cables and sockets.

Room refurbishment
A room with sash windows and panel mouldings, photographed part-way through the work in June 2024 and after redecoration, with wall lights and a pendant light in place.

Weatherboard cladding
The cracked render on the twin rear gables of this house was covered with cream weatherboard cladding in July 2023.

Flat roof replacement
The old flat roof deck was lifted, exposing rotten timber, then rebuilt with new timbers and boarding and finished in mineral felt in September 2024.

Trellis fencing
Square-lattice timber trellis panels fixed between timber posts along a garden border.

Cladding installation
The upper floor of this semi-detached house, shown before work began and with the scaffold, breathable membrane and new cladding boards on site in June 2023.

Mosaic front path and garden
An overgrown front bed and worn block path were replaced with a black and white mosaic tiled path, grey tiled areas either side and rope-top edging.

Dunster House garden office on adjustable steel feet
Built on a timber base frame levelled on adjustable steel feet, this pent-roof garden office has anthracite grey windows, French doors and a side store.

Insulated Dunster House garden office
The frame was wrapped in breather membrane, insulated with foil-faced insulation and lined with plasterboard, then finished with double doors and a side store.
